Paddle by day, camp by night! Your group will be led by an expert guide who will take you paddling into the heart of the 10,000 islands and the Everglades. Slowly make your way through one of the many passes that leads to the Gulf of Mexico, surrounded by the amazing mangrove trees. Try to spot birds, dolphins, sea turtles, jumping fish, manatees, and more! Free admission to the Everglades City Boardwalk is also included.

The Private Kayak Camping Combo is limited to your group of up to 10 people, ages 11+. All trips must be booked for a minimum of 3 people (your actual party may be less than 3) and at least 30 days in advance. Your trip departure and arrival times will be based on tides.

A skiff is available to transport extra equipment upon request. Mention it in the comment box when you book!

Itinerary

All Private Kayak Camping Combo trips are private to your group. The itinerary is subject to change based on your group's expectations and desires.

Day 1

Your Private Kayak Camping Combo will start at the Ivey House where you will meet your guide. Your guide will lead you through a safety orientation, gear review, and a description of the itinerary.

We'll then head to the boat launch and start paddling to the campsite. Halfway through our day, we'll break for a fresh made lunch and then continue on to our campsite.

Once we arrive at the campsite, you can relax on the beach or explore the key while your guide sets up base camp. Your guide will prepare dinner for your group and then we'll enjoy a breathtaking sunset and star gazing.

Day 2

We'll start the day with an energizing breakfast. Then, we'll take a new route back to the boat launch, stopping for lunch along the way.

Roundtrip paddling distance will be between 12-15 miles depending on the guide's route and based on group’s abilities.

Day 1

Your Private Kayak Camping Combo will start at the Ivey House where you will meet your guide. Your guide will lead you through a safety orientation, gear review, and a description of the itinerary.

We'll then head to the boat launch and start paddling to the campsite. Halfway through our day, we'll break for a fresh made lunch and then continue on to our campsite.

Once we arrive at the campsite, you can relax on the beach or explore the key while your guide sets up base camp. Your guide will prepare dinner for your group and then we'll enjoy a breathtaking sunset and star gazing.

Day 2

This day's itinerary is entirely up to your group.

Your guide will prepare breakfast for your group. You can choose to enjoy your day at basecamp or go paddling into the interior and explore one of the larger keys.

We'll break for lunch and then return back to our base camp for quiet time, dinner, and socializing around a campfire.

Day 3

We'll start the day with an energizing breakfast prepared by your guide. Then, we'll take a new route back to the boat launch, stopping for lunch along the way.

Roundtrip paddling distance will be 12 miles - 22 miles, depending if you choose to do the day paddle on day 2.

Day 1

Your Private Kayak Camping Combo will start at the Ivey House where you will meet your guide. Your guide will lead you through a safety orientation, gear review, and a description of the itinerary.

We'll then head to the boat launch and start paddling to the campsite. Halfway through our day, we'll break for a fresh made lunch and then continue our paddling to a ground campsite on one of the larger keys near the interior.

Once we arrive at the campsite, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the island that is part shell mound once inhabited by humans many years ago while your guide sets up base camp. Your guide will prepare dinner for your group and we'll enjoy a breathtaking sunset and star gazing.

Day 2

Your guide will prepare breakfast for your group. We'll then paddle out to the gulf and set-up camp on a sandy beach key. Once there, we'll have lunch. Afterwards, you can relax on the beach or paddle around and explore the key.

After a day of exploring, your guide will prepare dinner and we'll relax, socialize, and watch the sunset.

Day 3

We'll start the day with an energizing breakfast prepared by your guide. After breakfast, we’ll break camp and paddle to another campsite. We'll have several camp types to choose from such as a chickee, a ground site, or even another beautiful beach.

Day 4

You'll start the morning with breakfast prepared by your guide. Then, we'll take a new route back to the boat launch, stopping for lunch along the way.

Roundtrip paddling distance will be 25 miles - 28 miles.
